Amanda is an Associate Broker with Patriot Realty. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids. A graduate of Calvin College, Amanda pursued a degree in business marketing with a psychology minor. After graduating in December 2012, she spent a couple of years honing her marketing skills at some of Grand Rapids’ largest companies, Amway and Wolverine Worldwide. When Amanda felt she had a solid foundation of cross-industry experience in the marketing field, she decided to follow in her father’s (a certified residential appraiser and Realtor) footsteps and dive into the entrepreneurial world of real estate. Amanda received her real estate salesperson license in 2014 and obtained her initial training and real estate experience at Keller Williams before deciding that she would like to continue her career at Patriot Realty.
Looking to carve out her own niche in the market, Amanda focuses on delivering her clients the highest level of customer service possible. With a keen eye for design and staging, she utilizes her skills to give her clients an edge in the market. She is committed to continual professional and personal development, and she uses her knowledge to serve her clients to the best of her ability. Extremely organized with an articulate communication style, strong networks, and a fair, yet strong negotiation style, her clients feel well served.
Amanda holds Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and International Real Estate Practitioner (IREP) designations, and she specializes in helping first-time home buyers, sellers, and investors alike. In 2018, she was chosen by REALTOR® Magazine as a member of the elite Class of 30 Under 30.
Amanda and her husband, John, reside in Forest Hills with their daughter and are members and small group leaders at Ada Bible Church. An avid traveler and someone who is fascinated by other cultures, Amanda has had the opportunity to visit countries all over the world. When Amanda has free time, you can often find her curled up with a good book, having coffee with friends, or enjoying wonderful city of Grand Rapids with her husband.
