Jeannine J. Lemmon, SRES, ASP, Associate Broker

Jeannine brings over 25 years of marketing, communication, and public relations experience to Patriot Realty.  She is an Associate Broker and holds the designations of Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) from the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council, and Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) from StagedHomes.com.

A graduate of Calvin College with a degree in political science, Jeannine began her career with the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, where she established and managed a number of economic development and membership programs.  She left the chamber as Senior Vice President in 1990 to become the Marketing Director of one of West Michigan’s largest law firms, Varnum, Riddering, Schmidt & HowlettLLP.   While at Varnum, she implemented a comprehensive marketing program, which included research, planning, advertising, and public relations.  In 1997, Jeannine joined the Grand Rapids Christian Schools as Director of Communication, managing all of the publications, advertising, and media relations for the 3,000-student school system.

Jeannine serves on the Grievance Committee of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors.  She also is a director of the Cross Creek North Condominium Association, Clerk of Session for Westminster Presbyterian Church, past president of the Hess Lake Improvement Association, and a member of the Sophie de Marsac Campau Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Ronald A. Lemmon, MBA, Associate Broker

Ron has over 30 years of experience in business, finance, investments, mortgage banking, and real estate.   He has structured and negotiated a wide variety of transactions including business and industry sales as well as commercial and residential real estate.  Since 1991, Ron has operated Lemmon & Associates, providing consultation on mergers, acquisitions, and real estate investments.   He has been active in the real estate business since 1989 and is an Associate Broker with Patriot Realty.

In addition to his business interests, Ron is an assistant professor of business at Alma College where he teaches finance, strategic management, and investments.  He received his bachelor of science degree in business summa cum laude from Aquinas College and his MBA from Western Michigan University. 

Ron is a member of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors' Professional Standards Committee and has served as a member of many civic and community organizations including the City of Kentwood Planning Commission, the City of Kentwood Zoning Commission, the City of Grand Rapids General Pension Board, the City of Grand Rapids Police and Fire Pension Board, and is past vice president of the Grand Rapids Community College Foundation.  He is a former on-air business and economic analyst for WOOD TV-8 and columnist for the Grand Rapids Business Journal.

Ron and Jeannine have two married children and attend Westminster Presbyterian Church.  They have volunteered for numerous political campaigns for local, state, and national offices.  Life-long residents of West Michigan, the Lemmons live on the northeast side of Grand Rapids and own a cottage on Hess Lake in Newaygo County.

Kate Bylsma, GRI, ASP

Kate specializes in assisting first-time homebuyers as well as condo buyers in downtown Grand Rapids.  She has achieved the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors and also is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and consults with sellers on preparing their homes for sale.  She is a third-generation Realtor; her maternal grandfather, Erwin Johnson, was in the real estate business for over 20 years.  Kate earned her real estate license while still a student at Hope College.   A 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Hope, Kate is also a certified elementary teacher.  Kate and her husband, Matt, reside in the Alger Heights neighborhood in Grand Rapids and are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church

Mike Engle

Mike provides expertise in buying and selling lakefront properties. As part of his services, he offers boat tours to prospective buyers, helps buyers fully understand the unique attributes of different lakes, and provides market analysis on each property using lakefront property variables to assess value. Mike’s specializes in the lakes south of Grand Rapids.

Mike is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at Westpoint. While in the Army, Mike served seven years as a U.S. Army Aviator. During this time, he worked as a platoon leader, airfield commander, and company commander. Mike left the Army as a Captain in 1999. Since leaving the military, Mike earned a Master’s of Education degree from Troy State University and has also worked in the field of education for the last 10 years.

Mike enjoys water skiing and snow skiing with his wife Cathy, twin sons Drew and Caleb, and daughter Zoe. The Engle family resides on Algonquin Lake in Hastings

Sue Howell

Mary Suzanne, known as “Sue,” has been in real estate for most of her life.  How did she end up in real estate?  “It is really where I started,” says Sue.  “My dad was a real estate broker and owner of Fred Brye Real Estate in Spring Lake .  My mom became a Realtor once her six children where raised.  I think it is in my blood.” 

Sue graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor of science degree in political science and business.  She started her career in the field of marketing as a marketing director for the cable TV industry in the early days of cable.  Her next career step was as marketing director of the former Eastbrook Mall.  It was this position that led her into starting her own business, Howell Communications, an advertising/marketing business.  As she continued to work in advertising and marketing her involvement in the Catholic Church led her to two separate jobs for the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids.  The first position was part-time in communications and the next position as the Volunteer Director of the Refuge Resettlement Program.  Sue continues her involvement in the nonprofit sector working with the board of Grand Rapids Sister Cities International. 

Blending her business experience of marketing, advertising, and sales into the field of real estate provides a successful as well as pleasant experience for her clients in the buying and selling of their homes.  Sue and her husband, Dick, reside in the city of Grand Rapids .  They attend Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Stephan R. Lemmon 

Steve is a life-long resident of West Michigan and has over 35 years of experience in businesses, finance, construction, and real estate.  From 1970 to 1997, he was president and co-owner of Lemmon & Snoap Manufacturing Co.  From 1995 to 2009, he was the chairman of Hi-Tec Building Services, Inc., a building maintenance company with over 300 employees and $6 million in annual sales.  Steve also is a licensed builder and co-owner of R & S Cottage Builders, which specializes in the building and remodeling of cottages and lake homes.

Steve is an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970.  He is a graduate of Rogers High School and the past president of the Crockery Lake Association.  Steve and his wife, Pat, reside in Grandville and have two adult children. 

Jim Radford

Jim lives on Indian Lake in Montcalm County and is a board member of the Indian Lake Association. He is also a Winfield Twp. trustee and is well-acquainted with the lakes in the area.  In addition to working in real estate, Jim is a national sales manager for a Fortune 500 company.  He is a graduate Ferris State University, with degrees in business and marketing.  Both his mother and father had successful careers in real estate.

Jim and his wife, Cindy, have two daughters who are both attending Ferris State.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and boating.  Jim's background in sales and marketing plus his passion for lakefront living makes him a great addition to our team!

David Shea

Andy Sietsema

Andy has been in the real estate business for over four years.  He focuses his practice both on commercial real estate and development as well as waterfront and recreational properties.  Andy is a Grand Rapids native and grew up on Grand Rapids’ northeast side, where his family has operated Sietsema Orchards for four generations.  He attended Grand Rapids Christian High School and Davenport University, where he studied business management.    Andy is an assistant coach for the Grand Rapids Christian JV football team, and he and his wife, Mandy, are members of First Christian Reformed Church.  The Sietsemas live on the northeast side of Grand Rapids and a parents of three.
